Founded in Jakarta in 2021, Pakter Group is a partner-led advisory firm for Indonesia’s digital economy.

Our Story

Agung Utama and Ilman Dzikri founded Pakter Group in 2021. Between them, they had worked in strategy consulting, at an Indonesian conglomerate, in technology companies and in venture capital.

The first mandates came from both ends of the ecosystem: an embedded turnaround of a government-focused software company, and a legal study for a government directorate on how Indonesia regulates venture capital funds. That pattern has defined the firm since.

How We Work

A partner leads every engagement, staffed from a bench of around a dozen specialists in public policy, law, business strategy and finance. Outcomes, phases and a logframe are agreed at the start, so both sides know what done looks like.

We stay close to execution, from steering committees to event floors. Confidentiality comes first: we name clients only with their consent.

What We Stand For

Four values guide the work: integrity in what we advise, respect for every counterpart, inclusivity in who we bring to the table, and solidarity with the people a policy or programme is meant to serve.

Our mark ends in a full stop that keeps climbing – three steps, the last in brass. A full stop usually says done. Ours stands for the phases of an engagement rising to the outcome a client set out to reach: potential made real, one step at a time.
